● THE CARE YOU'VE BEEN MISSING

An Ancient Ritual of Women's Care

Abhyanga is an Ayurvedic warm oil treatment that uses long, flowing strokes to calm the nervous system and encourage deep relaxation. Rich herbal oils are worked into the body to ease tension, support circulation, and nourish the skin. The experience is deeply grounding, leaving you feeling balanced, restored, and replenished.

● WOMEN’S HEALTH

A Nurturing Ritual for Your Wellness

● FERTILITY

Support While You're Trying to Conceive

Abhyanga cultivates the warmth, steadiness, and deep relaxation that support a body preparing for conception — reducing stress and encouraging healthy circulation for a grounded foundation on the journey.

● QUESTIONS WE HEAR A LOT

What You Might Be Wondering

  • Ayurveda is a traditional system of Indian medicine with roots dating back over 5,000 years. The word comes from Sanskrit and translates to "the science of life" — a holistic science that seeks to harmonize body, mind, spirit, and environment.

  • It feels like one, but it's its own thing — hands-on care built for the postpartum body, with warm oils, abdominal work, and belly binding you won't find in a standard spa massage. The focus is your recovery, not just relaxation.

  • Ayurveda views the first forty-two days after childbirth as a vital window for rest, healing, nourishment, and bonding between mother and baby — calling for attentive, individualized care as a mother recovers.

  • If your cycle has returned, abhyanga is best after days 1–3. If preparing to conceive, during the follicular phase before ovulation. Bring socks and clothes you don't mind getting oily, and leave the oil on 1–2 hours before showering.

  • Whenever you feel ready — many moms begin within the first few weeks. We keep the work very gentle early on and build from there as you heal.

  • Yes. We adapt every session to your healing and avoid the incision area until it's well along and you're comfortable.

  • Abhyanga isn't recommended during acute illness, congestion, or fever; in areas of inflammation, infection, or open skin; or with certain conditions like uncontrolled high blood pressure. Please let us know about any health conditions before booking.

  • Absolutely — and many moms do. If you'd rather have the hour entirely to yourself, that's wonderful too.

  • Almost nothing. Wear something comfy, eat beforehand if you can, and give yourself a few unhurried minutes to arrive.

  • Ayurveda bodywork sessions are available in two lengths: 50-minute sessions are $135 and 90-minute sessions are $195.
