We are a sanctuary for women’s health just outside Boston, where expert acupuncture meets compassionate care. Located in Groton, Massachusetts, our clinic is dedicated to supporting women through every stage of life — helping restore balance, nurture vitality, and promote lasting wellness.
Our story began in November 2024, when we opened our doors to women from across Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire seeking specialized, deeply personal care. Today, we continue to welcome every woman who walks through our doors, offering a healing space designed exclusively for her.

Founder, Acupuncturist & Women’s Health Advocate
Dr. Nicole Lizzio, DACM, L.Ac., is a board-certified acupuncturist and founder of The Violette House. With a Doctorate and Master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from the University of San Francisco, Dr. Lizzio blends scientific understanding with holistic care.
Dr. Nicole Lizzio honed her clinical skills under the mentorship of Robin Sheared, L.Ac., FABORM at Blue Ova Health—one of San Francisco’s most respected clinics—where she specialized in fertility, hormonal health, and prenatal support. Dr. Nicole is passionate about supporting women in finding balance, healing deeply, and reclaiming their vitality at every stage of life.

While we specialize in fertility and reproductive health, The Violette House is a general acupuncture practice that treats a wide variety of conditions. From pain management and allergies to stress and digestive issues, we care for patients of all ages, from tiny babies to senior citizens.

Acupuncture needles are hair-thin and are inserted gently and shallowly. While everyone experiences acupuncture differently, most people report feeling little to no discomfort during the insertion. Once the needles are in place, many patients describe a deep sense of relaxation and well-being that often lasts for hours or even days after their treatment.

If applicable, Chinese herbs may be recommended as part of your treatment plan. We will review your medical history and determine the best course of action based on your individual needs.
